PGRTC Newsletter March 2020

Good afternoon all.

Play Resumes this Saturday
We still have one minor round to go for our Metro and GDTA teams and our SDTA teams start their finals this week. There will be a sausage sizzle from 6pm at the club this Saturday to celebrate those who made finals and commiserate those that didn’t.
Our Men’s and Women’s Metro, div 3, 5, 8, 9 men, div 2 women, div 2 & 4 mixed doubles teams are all in contention for finals and many of our junior teams are in good positions as well. If you’re not playing finals don’t forget to get along to some matches and support your club.

As always if you are unable to play please let your team captains know or tell Marcus for juniors or Matt for seniors.

Winter 2020 Nominations
Before you’ve even had time to mow that lawn, get your racket restrung and have a Saturday lunch with the in-laws the call goes out to get your Winter 2020 team nominations in. If you want to play please register your interest with Matt and/or Marcus before the 26th of March. Winter season starts the weekend of May 2nd.

Presentation Night
Once again our season 2019/20 presentation night will be held on the night of the GDTA grand final Saturday, which this year falls on March 28th. Junior trophy presentations at 6pm, gourmet BBQ and salads at 7pm and seniors presentations at 8pm. Please bring a desert if that’s what you’re into and you’ll need to BYO your dinner if you have any special dietary requirements.
This will also be your chance to cast your vote on the …

Club Logo Competition
We’ve had some fantastic entries in our quest for an updated club logo/mascot but there’s still time to get your designs to me for consideration. The winner will be picked by popular vote at the presentation night as outlined above. Send entries to pgrtcsecretary
